I listened to Kate singing the ABC song today whilst waiting For Abby to come out of class....and she sang it through without making one mistake, well done!!
On another note...biting your friend Bianca yesterday because she was trying to use the same pole as you to spin around on....!!!!....not good! Hopefully punishment served will mean this was a first and last.
Then Abby made Clarissa cry this afternoon as we were leaving school....she can be a little sensitive...but sheesh, I wonder if Bec thinks being friends with me is not such a good thing sometimes, lol. Of course Abby pointed out that Clarissa hurts her feelings at school too, so it's not just my two that do wrong but two wrongs don't make a right and it seems my two always do it when us mums are around to see....so then embarrassment for me and discipline required...something I feel I am forever doing, sigh.
The girls are loving their butterfly/dragonfly lights that I bought them. They are actually solar garden lights but I bring them into their rooms each night for them to enjoy. The lights are exceptionally bright and flash alternatively.
Abby has jumped a level in reading and is now up to level 11, whoo hoo Abby, well done sweatpea!
Over summer Abby has developed a dependency on having the fan on her at night. The other night she came out to me asking for a third blanket. I told her to put some winter pj's on but she refused. She then woke Kate up going into her room looking for a spare blanket. So I got up and went into Abby's room only to find she'd put the fan on!! She has done it again tonight...this is going to be a hard habit to break, I think!
Speaking of habits...Kate is addicted to watching Chicken Little. Before it was Toy Story 2 (or Woody 2 as she would call it). She can watch the same movie again and again and again and again and again and again...well you get the picture, lol.
