Abby is having an issue with a boy at school who has been pulling her hair, giving her chinese burns on her arm and yesterday pushed her over. She is constantly telling him NO STOP and to leave her alone.

I spoke to her teacher last week who reinforced to Abby that she needed to report this these to the teacher on duty...which is what I'd reminded her she needed to do.

Yesterday when he pushed her over, it was witnessed by two of Abby's friends. One held his arm whilst the other got the teacher and explained what had happened. I believe he was punished but am not sure as Abby couldn't say for sure.

Today she seemed to think he was 'changing' (her word) as he called out to her to play but she was already playing with some friends and didn't want to play with him. Can't blame her!

Up until yesterday afternoon she couldn't remember his name as he is in another class. But now she does know it and I will be having another chat with her teacher in the morning. I want to make sure this stops now! And even though he didn't do anything today, neither did he on Friday as she didn't see him, so it doesn't mean he has 'changed' as Abby liked to say. I will be passing his name on to Abby's teacher and making sure that this is nipped in the bud.

They have a duty of care to my daughter to make sure she is safe at school.

I think it's a good lesson to learn how to deal with bullying from a young age. Sounds like Abby is doing all the right things. You certainly have not raised a victim.
