Christmas card 2008

This years chrissy card....now I just have to get them printed and sent! I unfortunately, have run out of my good quality printing paper and have to order it in and it will take too long. So tomorrow I am hoping to get some printed at Big W or the like, then posted. But we'll see....

Kate has been unwell and covered me in vomit yesterday while waiting to pay Abby's 2009 school fees.....yuk! I am so surprised I didn't vomit too but I think I was too embarrassed to be bothered by it that way. We were a mess, she was covered and I was covered inside and outside of my top, ewww. I had been holding her and she had been whinging that she wanted to go home (well she got that wish!). Another mum gave me some wipes and I had a small packet in my handbag that I used to clean us up a bit and then I had to walk from one end of the school to the other to get back to the car, strip her off to get in the car and then travel holding my seatbelt out from me as I didn't want it messed up too. Striping off to have a shower was a challenge too. And it had all pooled and sat on the band of my denim skirt I'd been wearing...yuk yuk yuk!

Abby finished up at Prep today. There is one more day tomorrow but it is just a clean up day and the teachers will get more done without the kids there. As I don't work it is easy for me to keep her home (and I'm taking her and Kate to see Santa). They had their breakup party today, I'll post photos once I load them off my camera. The weather has been quite lovely but today it was a stinker! It was outside (to keep the mess inside to a minimum) and there was minimum shade. But the kids had a great time and there was SO much food. Way too much (we were all asked to bring a plate). Abby gave out her gifts...for her teacher a Christmas ornament with a photo of Abby from day 1 of prep, a CD calender I printed and some choccies. The teachers assistant got a CD calender and choccies and Abby also wanted to give the teacher of the class that shared the double room a gift too so I did and extra CD calender for her too. Earlier in the week Abby had handed out cards to all her classmates....she loved doing this. Her little face was lit up and so excited as she gave each one out. She had worked so hard over the weekend writing them all out.
