Abby had her Learning Celebration last night and at the end of it received her Prep graduation certificate. It was an emotional night. Watching her up on the stage singing and doing her actions, was well, bittersweet. I love that she is growing and learning but sometimes I wish I could make it stop just for a little while. With only two weeks of prep left, I just don't know where the year has gone.

The kids sang a number of songs and did so so well. This semester they learnt about other countries and it was all about the world...."What a Wonderful World". So the songs were a reflection of this, a couple were about their investigations into the natural world and the finale was the school anthem and "I am Australian". For the world songs, New Zealand was a popular country so the girls wore a skirt they had made (see photo) and did a Poi Medley dance (with ball spinners they made) and the boys did the "Haka". It was adorable!
